Eyes

Summer is finally here and I could not be more excited. Since I will have a ton of free time, when I am not at work, I will be starting a new project called eyes. Eyes are so descriptive and can tell your life story in 5 seconds. I plan on coloring the eyes different colors with a black and white subject. I am glad to take on this new photographic challenge and I plan to be as creative as possible with this. Wish me luck :)

Peter Yu

This is my second year to know Peter. But, in 2 years, Peter has become one of my best friends at school, and I was honored last week when he wanted me to take his senior photos. He told me at his home before we took the pictures that he wanted to try to look like the asian Brad Pitt so I let him take some photos sporting a leather jacket and aviators. I guees what I most like about Peter is his positive attitude even in negative situations. Peter always smiles and I am gonna miss that guy when we both go off to college. But I have no fear, because Peter is a smart and sociable person, so I know he will make a ton of friends. Good luck Peter and I am so glad that you and I are best friends. With happiness,

~Kyle

Fianlly, A Day When I Can Do Something...

Today is Friday, thank you JESUS!!! When Fridays comes, that means that i have some actual free time, meaning that I can actually go on some photoshoots. During the week I am busy with homework and other after school activities and do not have the free time nescessary to take photos. But not today my friends. These photos were taken in my hometown. I like to show the close up clear picture and image quality. These are the edits of the photos, edited on Google's Picasa version 3. Enjoy,

Kyle

Buddy

This is my dog, Buddy. We have had so many adventures together, most in our back yard, but some of them have been around our town. This picture was taken last February when we had an incredibly long snowstorm. I think it is one of my best photos of him, because he is so cute with his eyes closed. I have always cherished my time with this dog and always will. Here is to another 7 years best friend. Cheers!

The First Human Photoshoot

This is a picture of my first actual photoshoot of my friend Carlee. I have known her for several years now, and she has become on of my best friends. This photoshoot was set out in the woods close to her house. I took most of the photos in black and white because I wanted to show beauty but also display some sort of sadness in this shoot. When we finished, I went home and began to work on a video with her photos. The music is set to "Don't You Remember" by Adele. You can find the full video at the youtube link at the end of this post. Enjoy!

The Leaf

This is one of my 1st photos taken on my camera. I like it because it is just an ordinary leaf, but the picture quality is good, and the detail is very clear. As a photographer, I look to find ordinary things that some people might misjudge in an instant, and show that it can actually be quite beautiful. Lesson of the day:

"Don't judge a book by its cover."
